Aisino Facilitates the Launch of Gome’s VAT Reform New System

On May 1, Aisino Corporation (Aisino) helped Gome successfully issue the first new invoice after the implementation of the new VAT reform policy.

At the beginning of April 2018, the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation issued the Circular on Adjusting the Value-Added Tax Rate, according to which, from May 1, the originally applied tax rates, 17% and 11%, are respectively adjusted to 16% and 10% respectively when taxpayers have VAT-taxable sales or imported goods.

Gome has presence in 434 large and medium-sized cities across the country, with more than 1,700 stores. Its business involves store sales, online store sales, internal transfer, collection and telecom value-added services. It has high requirements and heavy tasks for tax rate system upgrade. In order to ensure the new system is upgraded as scheduled, specific to its business characteristics, Aisino, from project initiation and demand confirmation to development, joint debugging and testing, went all out, and after 25 days of intensive work, it finally achieved the roll-out of its new VAT system on schedule.
